Traveling log

It was my tenth birthday tomorrow so I set my alarm for 6:00. When it went off the next morning I jumped out of my bed and got dressed. I ran to Proffesor Rowans' Lab. When I got there I was greeted by his assistant who said that the proffesor was wating for me. after he went through his speech about being a traner he gave me my first pokemon. I was so happy I rushed back home to get my things ready for my journey. When i left my house I ran into my friends who also got their pokemon and after we were finished talking we decided to travel together. We figured it would be safer to travel in a group. now we're on our way up Route 201. Who knows what adventure awaits us, but whatever it is we know that we can always rely on eachother.

After I caught my doduo on Route 201 we headed for sandgem Town to see the professor. he started to talk about his journey with his friends. When he was done we said goodbye and headed for route 202. then out of nowhere two strange people jumped out of the bushes and demanded that we give them our pokemon. when we said no they called out their pokemon and tried to take them by force(yikes). after we called out our pokemon we had a battle. when they saw our pokemon they started to laugh. while they were distracted we attacked. they ran away screaming. we didn't know who they were but we'll be on the look out for them
